HP has introduced a new AI-powered software and a suite of innovations in digital presses designed to help professional print service providers (PSPs) drive profitable growth by simplifying operations, boosting productivity, and strengthening control in increasingly complex production environments. For HP, the future of work means empowering PSPs to generate sustainable growth through technology. The company continues expanding its value proposition with innovations that enable large-scale, uninterrupted digital printing, optimizing every phase of the production process.
HP reinforces its commitment to professional printing and label production
HP reaffirmed its commitment to the mid-range A3 professional printing market with the launch of the new HP Indigo 7K+ digital press. Based on the proven 7X00 platform, with more than 2,200 presses installed worldwide and a well-established track record, the new press offers greater profitability, versatility, and operational simplicity, in line with HP’s vision for uninterrupted digital printing.
“Our path to uninterrupted digital printing continues with resolve. At dscoop, we once again prove that HP Indigo innovation never stops. With the introduction of the HP Indigo 7K+ digital press, we reinforce our commitment to the A3 professional market,” said Noam Zilbershtain, Vice President and General Manager of HP Indigo.
The new HP Indigo 7K+ responds to the needs of mid-range customers seeking greater automation and operational simplicity, along with better profitability and flexible print mode options, to support both high-margin specialized applications and profitable everyday jobs.
The HP Indigo 7K+ incorporates press automation and AI tools that streamline manual processes and enable more efficient, data-driven decision-making. In addition, the new ECO print mode provides a cost-effective four-color option that uses thinner ink layers, ideal for text-heavy jobs or images that are less sensitive to image quality.
“The HP Indigo 7K+ press fits our business model perfectly, delivering the flexibility, speed, and performance demanded by the current market. We have thoroughly tested the ECO print mode and found that color quality meets our standards on most jobs, even for our most demanding clients. The color is natural and visually appealing. We expect to use ECO mode for at least 50 % of our total production volume with the HP Indigo 7K+. This technology aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional quality, efficiency, and versatility for our clients”, said Richard Smith, partner and CEO of Xerographics Digital Printing.
In addition, HP has unveiled the HP Indigo 120K Value Pack, available to HP Indigo 100K customers. The Value Pack has been installed on dozens of presses across North America and EMEA, delivering significant value in production metrics such as increased uptime, reliability, and consistent output, thanks to hardware and software improvements.
“Since installing the HP Indigo 120K Value Pack, we have seen a jump in productivity and a more stable, consistent workflow. After a brief learning period, our operators now prefer the new software. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and makes troubleshooting faster and more effective. Overall, the new Value Pack has significantly improved operator efficiency and confidence,” said Raúl López Jr., Chief Operating Officer of L&L.
HP has also reached 100 installations of the HP Indigo 200K digital press, underscoring the global momentum for digital labels and flexible packaging. This milestone highlights the growing demand for agile production models, short runs, and multi-SKU capabilities that shorten lead times and support sustainable packaging strategies.
HP Indigo expands its uninterrupted digital printing vision with AMRs focused on printing
As part of the uninterrupted digital printing vision, HP Indigo announced the expansion of its portfolio with the inclusion of fully capable Mobile Robotic Workflows (AMRs) focused on sector-specific printing, thanks to a collaboration with MoviĜo Robotics.
For the first time, HP will sell and provide full support for these AMRs directly, enabling true end-to-end automation across the production floor. The enhanced portfolio includes AMRs designed for B2 pallets for HP Indigo sheet-fed professional presses, as well as for mail pallets, carts, and shelving. It also introduces the new Sharko 5 RT, designed specifically for rotary presses in HP Indigo Labels and Packaging and HP PageWide environments.
Adam Carnell, CEO of Bluetree Group, stated: “MoviĜo has radically transformed movement within our factory. Rather than designing our processes around fixed limits, we now have a solution that feels limitless and truly adapts to the needs of high-volume, high-mix printing production. Early adoption of robotics has allowed us to scale smarter, improve flow, and stay at the forefront as a modern, data-driven printing company.”
Ten years of HP PrintOS, now advancing smart automation with HP Nio
HP marks ten years of HP PrintOS, which now connects thousands of devices worldwide and enables automated, data-driven production management. “The levels of automation, data, and insight that HP PrintOS offers are a key driver in Today’s Graphics’ ongoing growth,” said Jack Glacken, Chief Executive Officer of Today’s Graphics.
Building on this foundation, HP Nio is now available on the market. Built on HP PrintOS, the AI-powered production intelligence solution introduces a conversational AI experience that turns real-time production data and technical know-how into clear, practical guidance.
“For years, our customers have told us that printing itself is no longer the challenge, but managing the complexity surrounding it,” said Diana Pascual Soldevilla, General Manager of HP Industrial Print Software and Solutions. “We’re focused on intelligent, people-centric automation, where AI augments teams rather than replacing them. With HP PrintOS and HP Nio, we turn data into clarity, help teams understand what’s happening in their production environment, and give them the confidence to act faster, with greater control and less effort.”
“With HP Nio you can pose any business question you want and get real-time, instantaneous, accurate answers. It’s a game-changing leap. And the learning curve is literally five seconds,” said Christopher Burnley, CEO of Corefact. “By helping teams understand what’s happening, why it matters, and what to do next, HP Nio enables faster decision-making, higher productivity, and safer, large-scale operations. Available via the Productivity Power Pack and Knowledge Zone, HP Nio extends intelligent automation to digital printing workflows.”
New workflow enhancements to accelerate automation
HP continues expanding HP Site Flow with enhancements that include Ultimate Impostrip integration, expanded order compatibility for up to 1,000 lines processed from start to finish, a new uptime calendar to improve SLA accuracy, a simplified Site Flow Power-up onboarding model to shorten the rollout time, and expanded mobile capabilities.
The company also announced its collaboration with GoMake, an AI-assisted, cloud-native solution for production management and quoting for small to mid-sized PSPs and converters. GoMake automatically defines optimal production plans, improves cost accuracy, and speeds up client response times. Integrated via HP’s open APIs, it streamlines job submission and real-time data collection, helping PSPs win more jobs and improve margins.
Connecting brands, creativity, and workflow on a unified platform
