Grupo Ruiz has launched Yurni, its new Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform, designed to integrate and facilitate urban travel. With this project, the Group reinforces its commitment to technological innovation and efficiency in public transportation, delivering solutions that address today’s city challenges with agile, connected, and sustainable options.
Under the slogan “Move without hassle”, Yurni is born as an all-inclusive, open, and scalable mobility solution. Its launch in Linares (Jaén) establishes it as the reference tool for urban transportation and the starting point of a fully integrated mobility ecosystem.
In this initial deployment phase, the platform enables Linares users to:
- Plan intelligent routes to optimize bus trips.
- Check real-time information, viewing the exact bus location on the map to reduce wait times.
- Receive service alerts and notifications.
An Integrated Mobility Ecosystem
The architecture of Yurni is designed to function as a true urban mobility hub, capable of integrating multiple services in a single app. Beyond bus transportation management, the platform is prepared to incorporate features such as:
- Digital wallet to unify payments for all mobility services.
- Top-up of passes and transit tickets directly from the mobile device.
- Integration with other operators, such as bike-share, electric scooters, or taxis.
- Personalization of the experience based on user habits.
This integration capability makes Yurni a strategic solution for any administration seeking to offer citizens a connected, multimodal, and frictionless mobility experience.
Technology at the Service of Mobility
Yurni relies on a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure that guarantees high levels of security and scalability. Its architecture, based on serverless microservices, along with centralized API management and real-time data, enables an agile and personalized experience.
Additionally, the application features fully automated continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring frequent updates, greater system reliability, and a rapid response to any technological need. This commitment cements Grupo Ruiz as a key player in the development of smart mobility solutions.
“Yurni is the result of a steadfast commitment to technological innovation, designed to give citizens a more connected and sustainable mobility experience. Our goal is to make getting around the city easier for everyone,” says Federico Caro, Chief Technology Officer of Grupo Ruiz.
«After fully electrifying the fleet last year, we are taking the next step and modernizing the travel experience to offer a faster service,” notes Enrique Barragán, Grupo Ruiz manager in Linares.
