Personio and the startup Walter! recently announced their integration. Managing technology equipment becomes a challenge as companies grow, hire remote talent, or expand into new markets. Coordinating the delivery and pickup of computers, monitors, or peripherals for each new hire or departure entails a significant operational burden for HR and IT teams. This can translate into onboarding delays, purchases that do not align with the needs of each role, or security risks when devices aren’t recovered on time.
The collaboration between Personio and Walter! automates this process and eliminates the need to coordinate different vendors in each country. Information about hires and terminations is automatically synchronized between the two platforms, while Walter! centralizes lifecycle management of devices, from shipping to returns and maintenance, with processing times of 24 to 48 hours in more than 150 countries. Additionally, for every new hire, it automatically recommends the best purchase or leasing option and allows for a provisional hold while the order is confirmed.
