Tentare Aims to Simplify Pilates and Yoga Studio Management

September 29, 2026

Digital transformation is also reaching small businesses linked to sport and wellness. Reservations, payments, client management, schedules, invoicing, or coordinating professionals are among the daily tasks Pilates and yoga studios must handle. The Spanish startup Tentare aims to consolidate all of these processes into a single specialized platform.

Founded in Barcelona by Marcos Roca Rodríguez, Tentare has developed a management software tailored specifically to these kinds of centers. Its goal is to prevent studio managers from having to rely on different apps to run the various areas of the business.

The platform currently integrates 15 management areas, including online reservations, calendars, students, instructors, payments, passes, dues, attendance tracking, invoicing, waitlists, substitutions, automation, reports, and multi-site management.

The company aims to differentiate itself from generic gym and sports-center solutions by focusing on the particularities of Pilates and yoga businesses. For example, it addresses common situations such as fixed slots, recurring classes, or the need to quickly substitute an instructor who cannot teach a session.

Automating day-to-day tasks

Precisely, one of the areas Tentare wants to focus on is automating administrative processes. In the case of substitutions, the system can identify suitable professionals based on their availability and fit for a specific class, manage outreach, and then update the calendar when a substitute is found.

The idea is to reduce the time owners and managers of these small businesses spend on administrative and operational tasks.

“When we started working on Tentare, we saw that many studios had to adapt to the software they were using. We wanted to do the opposite: build the software around the studio’s real needs,” explains Marcos Roca Rodríguez, founder and CEO of the company.

The software also lets clients manage their reservations and cancellations from mobile devices following the conditions set by each establishment. In addition, the booking system can be integrated directly into the studio’s website so the process happens within the business’s own digital environment.

A network to connect studios and professionals

Beyond management tools, the startup is developing Tentare Network, a network aimed at connecting studios with Pilates and yoga professionals. Professionals can have profiles where they indicate experience, specialties, or availability. This way, studios could use the platform to locate instructors for substitutions, openings, or new hiring and collaboration needs.

With this initiative, Tentare aims to evolve from purely administrative software to an ecosystem that covers different needs for small businesses in the sector.

Tentare markets its solution through a monthly subscription model with no long-term commitment. It currently offers three tiers: Base, from 29 euros per month; Studio, 59 euros per month; and Network, 149 euros per month, the latter specifically targeted at companies that manage multiple centers. The company also notes that it does not take any commission of its own on payments processed by studios.

Another challenge for these platforms is making it easy to switch from software that businesses already use. To this end, Tentare provides data import tools and offers support during migration.

With Spain as one of its priority markets, the startup will continue expanding the platform with new features related to business management, communication, marketing, and automation. The company is also developing a resource hub aimed at Pilates studio managers, with content on profitability, occupancy, taxation, substitution management, and business organization.

Tentare’s approach sits within a trend that is increasingly affecting small businesses: replacing manual processes and scattered tools with vertical platforms designed specifically for each sector’s needs.
