Toyota Material Handling introduces the new generation of heavy-duty electric counterbalance forklifts, the Traigo80, designed for intensive applications. With a blend of entirely new elements and significant improvements, the brand once again achieves a perfect balance between power and control.
Enhanced and Expanded Range
Designed for demanding environments both indoors and outdoors, the new Toyota Traigo80 is available in five versions equipped with an 80V battery, from 3.5 to 5.0 tons, with compact and standard chassis to fit even more heavy-duty applications. The different models incorporate 500 mm and 600 mm load centers, essential for lifting capacity and forklift stability. The range stands out by integrating the new Traigo forklift design, a style that has recently been recognized with several international awards.
These high-tonnage models offer exceptional reliability in demanding operations, such as beverage production, and are ideal for simultaneous handling of multiple pallets. With battery options including lithium, lead-acid, or fuel cell, the Traigo80 meets the needs of both occasional and intensive users, crucial in fleets and high-demand operations thanks to its high performance and long runtimes.
Power on Demand
Equipped with an 80V battery, this rugged forklift delivers lower energy consumption, ideal for efficient, high-frequency operations. The High Performance option, with a 90V battery, provides superior protection against dust and water thanks to a high-performance motor with IP54 certification, in addition to higher torque and travel speed (20 km/h), up to a 30% increase in lifting speed, greater gradeability, and up to a 12% energy savings compared to previous models.
All of this delivers the extra power and durability needed for outdoor challenges, while also enhancing energy efficiency.
“In maintenance, true performance lies in the balance between power and control. Our new Traigo80 electric forklift offers both. Precision is integrated in every detail, from the latest improvements of the Traigo family to its modern design, all conceived to meet evolving customer needs and anticipate future market trends,” says José María Gener, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Toyota Material Handling Europe.
Precision You Can Trust
Designed with the operator in mind, the new series incorporates the latest innovations and comfort features of the Traigo range to deliver maximum ergonomics. Precision is evident in every element: low noise and reduced vibrations thanks to a fully floating operator compartment, more legroom, smooth regenerative braking, fluid acceleration, and excellent visibility in the entire environment. Maintenance access has never been as convenient, with a handle integrated into the rear cover to facilitate quick interventions.
The Traigo80 can be tailored to specific requirements with options such as a color touchscreen with intuitive controls, a new armrest available with three types of controls and an optional glass canopy, ensuring comfort and productivity in every shift.
In terms of safety, it incorporates advanced SAS (Active Stability System) technology, a door sensor, and options such as the operator assist system SEnS+, obstacle detection, rearview camera, and smart lighting solutions, including the new optional side red light. Whether handling heavy loads or working indoors, the Toyota Traigo80 responds with confidence and control.
