Spanish startups and small and medium-sized enterprises developing innovative technologies have a new opportunity to break into the European market. The 5G-DIGITS project has opened a new call for its acceleration program with the goal of identifying and supporting companies capable of leading the next generation of digital solutions based on advanced connectivity technologies.
The initiative, co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, is aimed at startups and SMEs with innovative projects in areas such as Industry 4.0, smart logistics, connected mobility, the energy transition, smart cities, or enterprise digital transformation.
“Innovation needs opportunities to become growth and competitiveness. At Finnova we work to bring European initiatives to the business landscape and help startups and SMEs turn their ideas into solutions with real impact. 5G-DIGITS demonstrates how Europe can turn innovative talent into more competitive, international, and future-ready companies,” says Juanma Revuelta, CEO of Finnova.
The call is open to entities established in EU member states and Horizon Europe associated countries, enabling participating companies to join an international network formed by universities, research centers, big corporations, investors, and innovation-focused organizations.
At a moment when Europe is pushing to strengthen its technological sovereignty and accelerate the digitization of its economy, 5G-DIGITS offers Spanish startups a platform to validate their solutions, broaden their network, and access new growth opportunities in the European market.
