Concept International Spain has launched the Giada D108, a premium digital signage player designed for multi-display installations and videowalls, edge AI analysis, and industrial visualization applications. The device enables connecting up to four native 4K displays and is aimed at professional environments that demand high graphics performance, low latency, long-term stability, and local processing capability.
The Giada D108 incorporates AMD Ryzen processors from the 7000 and 8000 series. In its top configuration, based on the AMD Ryzen 7 8000-series with an integrated AI NPU, the system reaches a total power of up to 38 TOPS, with 16 TOPS dedicated specifically to AI tasks. This capability allows running AI models directly on the device itself, without the need for a constant cloud connection, which reduces latency and enables more controlled data usage in sensitive applications.
Thanks to its combination of graphics power, CPU performance, and local AI capability, the Giada D108 is designed for applications in retail, corporate environments, hospitality, dining, public spaces, industry, and control centers. Among its potential uses are managing videowalls in shopping centers, trade show and event visualization, signage in corporate and hotel lobbies, restaurant menus, industrial dashboards, HMIs, monitoring stations, and monitoring systems.
In digital signage, the unit enables smooth playback of 3D content, real-time visualizations, and interactive experiences via touch screens, voice, or sensors. Additionally, its integrated NPU opens the door to AI applications at the point of sale, such as delivering targeted advertising based on audience profiles, generating heat maps, or analyzing visitor flows, all with local processing.
The player can also be used in smart spaces and smart buildings for occupancy analytics, presence-based energy optimization, monitoring security zones, and access control. In industrial settings, it is well suited for visualizing equipment data, supporting AI-driven quality control processes, or presenting information linked to predictive maintenance.
A High-Performance AMD Alternative Within the Giada Portfolio
The Giada D108 is a compact, high-performance PC built on an x86 architecture in a book-sized form factor, measuring 205 x 130 x 32 mm. Within the Giada lineup, it positions itself as a particularly powerful AMD alternative for projects that require greater compute performance and graphical capability.
Depending on the chosen configuration, with processors AMD Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7, the system can reach up to 30,000 PassMark points, placing it above other embedded PCs based on Intel in the same category, with a chassis only slightly larger. The unit supports up to 96 GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory and allows storage expansion via an M.2 slot. It is available with Windows 11 and Linux Ubuntu.
Four HDMI Outputs for 4K Playback
The Giada D108 integrates AMD Radeon 780M or 760M graphics, enabling multi-display performance suitable for graphics-intensive applications. Its four HDMI 2.0 ports with EDID support allow running in parallel up to four displays with 4K resolution, up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz.
The EDID support ensures monitor assignments stay intact even during maintenance or replacement, a particularly relevant aspect in professional digital signage installations, videowalls, control rooms, monitoring centers, industrial environments, and multi-monitor workstations.
When it comes to connectivity, the device offers six USB ports, five USB 3.2 Gen2 and one USB 2.0, an RS-232 COM port optionally expandable to two, two LAN connections to securely separate intranet and internet, WiFi, Bluetooth, and mobile connectivity 3G, 4G, or 5G.
