Fracttal, a global company specializing in AI-powered maintenance solutions, has acquired TCMAN, the leading Spanish company in the sector and developer of the GIM platform.
Founded in 1997, TCMAN operates a GIM platform with more than 35 years of history in the field, and is used by more than 250 organizations, including Serveo, Acciona, Eiffage, Moncobra, Sanitas, and Quirón, to manage critical assets across infrastructure, industry, and services.
With this acquisition, Fracttal integrates TCMAN’s experience and customer base with its AI-based technology platform, which currently manages more than 20 million assets in more than 60 countries.
“Fracttal and TCMAN share a common conviction: maintenance is a key ally in building a more sustainable, safer, and more efficient world. This union will accelerate that transformation, combining decades of sector experience with advanced technology and artificial intelligence to help industry operate better,” says Christian Struve, CEO and cofounder of Fracttal.
Strategic Functions for Businesses
The company believes that maintenance is becoming an increasingly strategic function for companies, especially in asset-intensive sectors such as infrastructure, industry, energy, and healthcare.
“Integrating TCMAN’s experience with our platform strengthens our ability to continue developing intelligent maintenance solutions and deliver more value to organizations that manage complex and distributed assets,” explains Raúl Peris, COO of Fracttal.
The operation will also accelerate the evolution of the GIM software within Fracttal’s tech ecosystem, incorporating new AI-based capabilities, advanced analytics, and integration with IoT technologies. From TCMAN, the integration marks a new stage after more than three decades of activity in the Spanish market.
“For more than 30 years we have helped companies across multiple sectors manage their assets more effectively. Joining Fracttal allows us to broaden the reach of our technology and continue evolving our solutions in a context where maintenance is increasingly strategic,” says Eloy Ortega, founder of TCMAN.
The acquisition comes just months after Fracttal closed a $35 million funding round. The company will allocate this investment to bolster its AI capabilities, accelerate product development, and expand its presence in strategic markets in Europe and Latin America.
The integration of both companies reflects a shared vision of the role maintenance plays in the modern economy. Under this approach, the operation centers on a single idea: “Maintenance moves the world. Now we move it together.”
