Eviden has launched ELIT AI, Avantix’s next-generation radar interceptor. Developed by Eviden’s Center of Excellence for Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), ELIT AI is an ELINT sensor whose capabilities are enhanced by artificial intelligence. It enables real-time tactical situational awareness of the radar environment, as well as faster visualization and identification of complex next-generation radar waves.
The next-generation ELIT AI sensor is designed for detection, analysis, and identification of radar signals for tactical situational awareness and signals intelligence. ELIT AI comprises a flexible and scalable hardware-and-software platform that can be integrated into a wide range of platforms and environments. It addresses the challenges associated with detecting new forms of complex radar waveforms and low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) signals, capable of dynamically altering their emissions while operating at lower power levels.
ELIT AI integrates adaptive software-defined radio (SDR) technologies, as well as sovereign artificial intelligence capabilities derived entirely from Eviden’s R&D. Highly configurable, ELIT AI offers an intelligent exploration strategy, real-time tactical visualization, activation of recordings and advanced technical analysis for the deferred exploitation of information. The sensor also incorporates enhanced sensitivity that widens its detection range, as well as greater agility and adaptability thanks to its wide frequency spectrum.
