Bunq, the neobank, has launched a credit line of up to €5,000 on its no-annual-fee, globally accepted credit card. The card blends flexible credit with full monthly repayment, helping users stay in control and avoid unwanted debt.
Credit cards are often essential for expenses like hotel bookings and car rentals, where plans can change and users prefer not to pay out of pocket upfront. With Bunq’s global credit card, this extra limit makes travel and overseas payments smoother with maximum transparency to help users keep their finances in check.
The card is designed to offer total transparency into credit usage, with no monthly fees and all charges, the available credit, and the repayment date clearly visible in the Bunq app. Created to simplify the lives of people with an international lifestyle, users can manage their card alongside their other accounts and cards within the app, including authorizing payments, adjusting the credit limit across cards, and freezing the card instantly.
Additionally, the card comes with Bunq’s existing security features, such as dynamic CVC codes and location-based protection, helping protect users from unauthorized use.
Starting today, all Bunq users can apply for a credit card in Spain. The waitlist for priority access to the credit limit is now open to 1,000 users per market in Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany via the Bunq app, with plans to expand to additional European markets soon.
