Acer Vero 16 (V16-I71 / V16-I71T) is the brand’s premium laptop, built with thoughtfully selected materials and significant reparability without compromising performance. Its design makes repair and upgrades easier, while the chassis leverages recycled materials and low-carbon aluminum. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, Acer Vero 16 is a PC Copilot+ that delivers responsive performance and advanced AI features on-device for productivity, content creation, and entertainment.

Enhanced with a repair-first design and a new aluminum chassis
This device is designed around a commitment to reducing environmental impact throughout its life cycle. It is the fourth generation of the Vero consumer laptop and brings several meaningful improvements over earlier models. In the chassis, the top cover and palm-rest housings are now made of 50% post-industrial recycled aluminum (PIR) and 50% low-carbon aluminum. The bottom cover also incorporates 60% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), while the display bezels use 30% PCR plastic.
Acer Vero 16 also demonstrates that the company has expanded its product design approach from 3R to 4R, adding ‘reparability’ to reduce, reuse, and recycle. It offers substantially expanded repairability features compared to the previous generation, redefining the laptop’s potential lifespan while aiming to curb electronic waste. The laptop includes a visually easy-to-use repair and upgrade guide etched directly into the chassis. The access latch on the bottom cover enables easier, tool-free access to internal components, and both the battery and the SSD can be replaced by users themselves. The Vero 16’s hinge is designed to be detachable from the chassis to simplify repairs, while removable I/O port covers on both sides facilitate extraction and servicing. The device is designed to support processor upgrades for at least two generations.
Acer’s commitment to reducing the device’s environmental footprint extends to the finish and coating of the chassis, which is MIL-STD-810H certified. The Vero 16 uses a powder-coated, solvent-free finish that lowers VOC emissions and provides greater wear resistance than conventional paint, improving durability and longevity.
As with the previous generation, the Vero 16 ships in 100% recyclable packaging made from recycled materials.

This laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor with up to 180 TOPS. It delivers an energy-efficient hybrid architecture that balances high performance with a 71 Wh battery and smooth operation. Product configurations will include up to a 16-inch OLED 3K WQXGA+ display for vivid visuals, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, and up to 512 GB of SSD storage. A 5 MP infrared camera with an integrated privacy shutter provides clear imaging during video calls, while adding an extra layer of security.
This practical laptop makes it easy to connect everyday devices and accessories with a built-in SD card reader, HDMI 2.1 with HDCP for external displays, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Two USB Type-A ports add flexibility, including a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and a faster USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, with power-off charging to power accessories even when the laptop is off. Intel Wi‑Fi 7 delivers fast, reliable connectivity to stay productive on the move.
The backlit keyboard includes Acer MyKey, a customizable quick-key that launches apps and opens websites or Windows functions with a single press. The dual anti-vibration speakers deliver crisp, high-quality audio and minimize unwanted vibrations and noise to enhance sound performance.
