Freepik Featured in Quevedo’s New Music Video

April 5, 2026

The Malaga-based company Freepik has left its mark on the creative process of ‘Ni borracho’, Quevedo’s new single, a carnival-flavored hit that pays homage to the Canary Islands’ identity and love for the land.

The video, shot on February 5 under strict secrecy at the Las Crucitas wrestling ring in Agüimes, and released to the public on February 12, features elements generated with a suite of generative AI tools. Freepik played a role in the production flow with several of the video’s most complex sequences, including scenes where the singer is submerged in water or where multiple people appear with the same face.

The production team of ‘Ni Borracho’ included Clara López as head of VFX and AI. The 28-year-old Malaga-born creator, an AI Artist at Freepik, defines herself as a “Digital Craftswoman.” With a background in photography, graphic design, advertising, and art direction for artists, Clara approaches each project holistically, from concept to final piece, blending visual culture, elegance, and urban details.

Scenes that Mix Traditional Filming with AI Editing

To create the video’s scenes, Clara started from captured footage treated as reference images. From a series of frames, she altered elements of the scene and generated new camera angles, using the Nano Banana Pro and Flux 2.0 Pro models in Freepik’s image editor. Thanks to AI, she could also merge elements from one shot into another where they didn’t originally exist.

For generating video clips, she continued her workflow in Freepik’s video generator, using the edited images as reference frames. The Seedance 1.0 Pro, Seedance 1.5 Pro, and Kling 3.0 models were used to turn static images into dynamic sequences. And Kling O1 was used to transfer the effects the artist sought into the videos, such as moving-face replacement.

The result is a music video that blends traditional shooting with AI-generated creation and editing, expanding creative possibilities without losing the project’s identity and the AI artist’s intent and vision. In a project that celebrates Carnival, music, and the culture of the eight islands, Freepik has contributed from technology to bolster a visual imagination that connects tradition and frontiers.

‘Ni borracho’ also marks a new artistic phase for Quevedo, one of Spain’s artists with the strongest international projection, and demonstrates how artificial intelligence applied to audiovisual production is already part of major musical releases.
