Flovi, the Finnish scaleup specializing in automotive logistics and smart relocation, has announced the start of its operations in Spain, aimed at transforming the logistics management of the automotive sector through its AI-powered platform.
With an established presence in Finland, Sweden, and Poland, the company is expanding into one of Europe’s most important automotive markets. Spain’s rental fleet has, for the first time, surpassed one million vehicles, specifically 1,013,507 units at the end of 2025, reflecting a 7% year-over-year growth in investment. The used-vehicle market closed 2025 with over 2,218,000 units sold, making it one of the most active markets in Europe. Add in a robust car rental sector driven by tourism, with more than 216,000 registrations in 2025. Additionally, despite its scale, the market remains fragmented and still heavily dependent on numerous manual processes.
“The European vehicle logistics market moves billions of euros. Despite its size, in many areas, such as Spain, it still relies heavily on manual and local processes. We are building the digital infrastructure that brings efficiency, transparency, and reliability to a market that remains under-digitized,” explains Aapeli Kallunki, CEO of Flovi.
The tourism and rental sectors are closely linked, and Spain is projected to welcome nearly 100 million international visitors in 2026, following record-breaking years in 2024 and 2025. This is one of the reasons the local market is demanding increasingly digital solutions that enable more efficient and automated management of the logistical flows for rental vehicles.
Delivery reliability powered by an AI-driven logistics platform
Flovi enables car dealerships, rental and leasing companies, rental operators, and car-sharing services to manage vehicle relocations more efficiently and transparently. The artificial intelligence behind Flovi’s logistics platform powers data on market demand, information on route efficiency, and real-time tracking of transfers, enabling clients to move vehicles faster and more efficiently, while giving drivers access to tools to organize their own work and generate better income opportunities.
One of the company’s differentiating elements is its operational reliability model, guaranteeing full on-time deliveries. This approach is the one Flovi aims to introduce to the Spanish market, paired with transparent and immediate client engagement where efficiency and quality go hand in hand.
“The ease of use, speed, and a seamless service experience are increasingly important in the automotive sector, where just-in-time logistics solutions lie at the heart of the industry’s future. That’s why Flovi’s entry into the Spanish market comes at the right moment. We’ve already secured our first customers, which clearly shows the market demands a more sophisticated solution—the one we’re bringing to Spain with Flovi,” says Enrique García-Comas, recently named Flovi’s Country Manager for Spain.
“Our speed in scaling the business across Europe is one of our key differentiators. It enables us to expand rapidly across the continent and lay the groundwork for a truly pan-European vehicle logistics platform. I’m immensely proud to lead an exceptional team that can turn strategy into execution and scale our operations successfully across multiple markets,” adds Kallunki.
To lead this new phase, Flovi has appointed Enrique García-Comas as Country Manager in Spain, who brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive sector and previously led Driiveme’s operations in Spain, helping to establish it as a market leader. This experience provides the market insight and operational know-how Flovi needs to enter Spain, and he is currently building a team of top industry professionals to take the Nordic company to the next level in the local arena.
