August 6, 2026

“Long live the towns!” MasOrange drives this through its Yoigo brand in partnership with the Unlimited Foundation, and has broadened its reach in this edition, adding more than 700 projects that have shown interest in participating in the program and a total of 28 startups supported since its launch.

These initiatives have benefited from more than 200 hours of personalized training and the guidance of a network of 75 MasOrange mentors and advisors.

This support also translates into concrete results: the participating startups posted an average increase of 12.5% in their revenue in the twelve months after the program and they raised 3.5 million euros (roughly $3.8 million) in funding rounds in the 2025–2026 period.

In addition, the direct and positive impact these projects have achieved in their surroundings, with more than 283,000 people benefited in rural communities. As a result of this journey, the program’s Net Promoter Score since its launch in 2023 now stands at 9.7 out of 10 among its participants.

Initiatives to drive transformation and innovation in rural areas

Among these projects, nine startups have been selected for their ability to address some of the main challenges facing rural communities, from access to specialized healthcare services through digital solutions, to improving efficiency and sustainability in extensive livestock farming, to boosting bioeconomy models and sustainable production, or developing new rural tourism initiatives or sustainable mobility.

Specifically, the startups selected for this edition are:

  • Trak: A digital physiotherapy clinic that brings specialized health services to rural areas through technology and data-driven care.
  • Innogando: Markets a smart collar for extensive livestock farming that improves profitability, sustainability, and quality of life for rural livestock producers.
  • Protiberia: A bioeconomy model that transforms unused farms into insect farming operations, creating rural jobs and sustainable protein.
  • Turicleta: An autonomous network of electric bike rentals that boosts sustainable tourism and the local economy in rural municipalities.
  • Orygen: A data and AI platform that unlocks the potential of rural land and reactivates economic opportunities in rural territories.
  • Re-viviendo: A social innovation initiative that activates vacant housing in towns to turn them into homes and facilitate rural repopulation.
  • Kloosiv: An AI-powered digital platform that connects housing, care, and community to combat loneliness and facilitate settlement in aging towns.
  • H2Vector: Modular energy solutions with green hydrogen to provide autonomy and energy resilience to rural areas and critical infrastructure.
  • Tecnobosque: Technological solutions for sustainable forest management that improve their economic and environmental value and the resilience of rural territories.

Over the past months, the leaders of these projects have received mentorship and support from MasOrange professionals to advance their ideas, reflecting the role of innovation as a tool to generate economic activity, improve quality of life and contribute to the sustainable development of rural areas.

“Long live the towns! has established itself as a program that drives innovative solutions with real impact in rural areas. Through mentoring, training, and support, we help entrepreneurial projects become viable initiatives that generate opportunities in their territories. Because this goes beyond connectivity: it is about unlocking the potential of towns and helping them remain vibrant places with a future,” said Ana Torres, Director of Social Impact at MasOrange.

Manuel Lencero, CEO of the Unlimited Foundation, notes that “Long live the towns! is an example of how a large company can put its talent, knowledge, and mobilization capacity at the service of a challenge such as the future of the rural economy. At Unlimited, we believe that impact appears when companies stop observing problems from the outside and get involved in building solutions from within.”
