In the era of artificial intelligence, the challenge is no longer merely having an idea, but building, with speed and method, projects that can transform the economic future of Andalusia. That is the challenge facing the participants of the fifth edition of SuperSprint, Fusion Startups’ live startup-creation spectacle, which will be held from September 18 to 20 in Seville, Spain.
Fusion Startups has co-created more than 20 startups within its venture builder since its founding, several of them arising directly from previous editions of the event. Just in the March 2026 edition—the program’s fourth—the participation exceeded fifty entrepreneurs and the event set a new record for sign-ups, with more than 110 people registered.
With every SuperSprint, the venture builder selects the 10 projects that will join its co-creation cycle, a six-month program in which veteran entrepreneurs work hand in hand with the founders on the real building of their startup, employing an AI-first methodology, a network of experienced founders, a dedicated space in Seville, and up to €250,000 in resources. In addition to its role as a selection process, the SuperSprint serves as Fusion Startups’ main channel for identifying entrepreneurial talent.
This fifth edition will place special emphasis on technology- and industry-based projects, incorporating individuals with technical knowledge in materials engineering, robotics, agritech, the aerospace sector, biotechnology, and cybersecurity. This focus is not exclusive: the SuperSprint welcomes any project with potential for innovation,
scalability and a solid technological base, regardless of the sector.
Over 72 hours, participants will work on the creation and evolution of projects, following a structured process that includes ideation, prototyping, validation with real users, pivoting the initial approach when necessary, and developing a business model.
Program Development
The first day will focus on constructing the initial prototypes (MVPs), with activities aimed at turning ideas into functional solutions in a short period. During the second day, teams will carry out validation processes with real users, gathering direct feedback on their proposals, and they will begin pivoting those approaches that fail to perform after the initial validation.
The final day will be devoted to developing the business plan and preparing the pitch deck, which the teams will present to a jury comprised of professionals from the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystems. At the close of this last day, the 10 best projects will be selected to join Fusion Startups’ co-creation cycle in October.
In previous editions of the program, notable entrepreneurs have attended and shared their experiences with participants, including Juan Martínez Barea, founder and president of Universal Diagnostics; Salvador Lora, cofounder of Kampaoh; Enrique Ruiz, cofounder of Wuolah; and Carlos Pérez, cofounder of CoverManager.
The jury responsible for evaluating the projects in the final pitch has previously been composed of professional venture capital investors, such as Vanessa Galindo, Senior Analyst at Eoniq Fund, a Seville-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage startup investments, and Andrea Alonso-Bernaola, CEO of BAnCLUBS, a company specializing in creating and managing investment clubs for startups.
The program will be supported by Fusion Startups’ project management team, made up of veteran entrepreneurs: Sergio de la Puente, founder of Fusion Startups; Javier Duro, cofounder of Footters; and Víctor Humanes, cofounder of OpenWebinars.
“At SuperSprint, we’re not chasing flashy ideas; we’re looking for the person who knows their problem better than anyone. The obsession isn’t to have the best idea on paper, but to deeply understand what’s failing and why no one has solved it well yet. That’s what separates a project that moves forward from one that remains a slide deck,” explains Javier Duro, Project Manager at Fusion Startups.
