eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW 2026 wrapped up its third edition in Malaga, establishing itself as the premier gathering for the autonomous, electrified, sustainable, connected, and secure mobility industry. Within the event, the eMobility Startup Forum took place, a startup competition that has recognized those who are transforming the sector and driving forward the advancement of sustainable mobility with their disruptive solutions and technologies.
The winner of the first prize was TORCH Smart Urban Solutions, a company on a mission to revolutionize modern cities through the digitization of urban infrastructure, addressing critical challenges such as sustainable mobility, social inclusion, safety, and environmental preservation. TORCH integrates Industry 4.0 technologies to deliver innovative solutions that transform the urban experience, promoting smarter, more accessible, and resilient cities.
The second prize went to Zero Labs, for its radically accessible and transparent tools that enable anyone, anywhere to purchase renewable energy. Through its API, easy for developers to use, renewable energy can be integrated into any application or digital process, automating climate action and accelerating the zero-emission future with “programmable decarbonization”.
Lastly, the third prize was awarded to two startups: SWITCH – Street WITCHer for its agential AI development for urban mobility and logistics, which enables efficiency gains of up to 25%, and a forecast of 92-98% across more than 10 million trips; and A4Radar – Advanced Algorithms for Radar, for its radar-based sensor solution for real-time acquisition and processing, capable of reliably detecting moving or stationary objects and vehicles within smart infrastructures, reducing costs and boosting operational efficiency.
