Registration is now open for the 4YFN27 Awards, which offers digital startups from around the world the opportunity to showcase their business, connect with potential investors, and win a €20,000 prize.
4YFN, which will take place in Barcelona from March 1 to March 4, 2027, brings together startups, investors, major corporations, and innovators from the global tech community. The event will focus exclusively on boosting startups, and the awards will honor startups that develop the technologies, products, and solutions that will shape the future.
Registration is open in five categories:
- Climate Tech: We are looking for startups that accelerate climate impact with solutions ready to present to investors, companies, and policymakers driving the green transition.
- Connectivity: For companies building technology that powers today’s and tomorrow’s connected world.
- Digital Horizons: If you are at the cutting edge, even among startups, and you are directly shaping the next generation of revolutionary technologies and digital innovation, we want to hear from you.
- Fintech: If your startup is redefining how finance is managed, submit your application and get ready to pitch your company to top fintech investors, financial institutions, and innovation partners.
- Health Tech: Ideal for startups transforming the future of healthcare, whether through digital health, applied AI, biotechnology, diagnostics, clinical innovation, or medical technology.
The path to victory at the 4YFN27 Awards
A jury of investors will review all applications and select the 20 standout startups. Each shortlisted company will receive a €1,500 cash prize and a complimentary four-day exhibition space at 4YFN27.
The 20 shortlisted startups will also benefit from inclusion on the 4YFN Startup data and insights platform, in collaboration with Dealroom.co, which will be accessible to investors and VIP guests attending the event, as well as invitations to investor-focused activities and other members of the startup ecosystem.
And most importantly: this is a direct opportunity to showcase your company to the global tech community attending 4YFN and MWC Barcelona.
The 20 finalists will have the opportunity to present their startups on the 4YFN stage during the semifinals, in front of an audience consisting of investors, technology leaders, founders, and attendees. Next, five finalists will be selected, one from each category, to compete in the awards ceremony. The five finalists will deliver their live pitches on the main stage before a panel of investors, who will select the ultimate winner.
Each finalist will receive a cash prize of €2,500, while the winner will take home a cash prize of €20,000, courtesy of GSMA Foundry.
