According to Canon Spain, the unit offers speeds of up to 14 images per minute (ipm) in black and white and 9 ipm in color, with a first-page-out time of 7.5 seconds in monochrome and 9.5 seconds in color.
One of the model’s standout features is its compact footprint. The PIXMA TS6550i measures approximately 374 x 355 x 168 mm (about 14.7 x 14.0 x 6.6 inches) with the trays retracted and weighs around 5.3 kg, making it easy to fit on desks, shelves, or tight workspaces. Canon has also placed the controls on the front panel to simplify use in areas where reaching the rear of the device isn’t always convenient.
The printer includes a 1.42-inch OLED display, QR code setup, and dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz).
