Eviden, the Atos Group brand specializing in electronic warfare systems, and Hexadrone, the French expert in designing and manufacturing modular drone platforms, announce a collaboration to integrate signals intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities into modular mini tactical drones.
With the growing need to expand drone use in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, military forces are seeking mature and versatile platforms. The rapid evolution of threats demands adaptable capabilities and robust, sustainable solutions that can be deployed directly on the battlefield.
To address these challenges, Eviden and Hexadrone unite their expertise around a shared ambition: to integrate sovereign, versatile, and compact SIGINT capabilities into modular mini drones. This plug-and-flight approach aims to deliver versatile and scalable tactical ISR micro-drones that can be tailored to the specific mission needs of the armed forces.
Within this collaboration, Eviden, through Avantix, will contribute its field-proven experience in developing sovereign SIGINT payloads compatible with multiple platforms for integration into Hexadrone’s TUNDRA 2 platform. Coupled with Hexadrone’s know-how in modular drone design, this capability will enable drones capable of carrying out a wide range of missions. Hexadrone’s multi-mission approach and Eviden’s cross-platform expertise jointly address the modularity needs of the armed forces.
