Mecides Acquires Majority Stake in Proincentiva, Cultural Tax Deductions Specialist

September 3, 2026

Mecides has acquired a majority stake in Proincentiva Deducciones Fiscales, one of Spain’s fastest-growing firms, specializing in structuring tax deductions for cultural projects and live performances.

The deal, the value of which has not been disclosed, represents a strategic step for Mecides, expanding its footprint into the realm of cultural tax deductions with the aim of diversifying its business and doubling its growth in the coming years.

With this integration, the group strengthens its position in a market increasingly relevant to financing the real economy, combining its leadership in structuring tax incentives for R&D&I projects with Proincentiva’s specialization in performing arts, live music, and other cultural projects.

«This operation aligns with our vision of building the leading group in Spain for financing through tax incentives. Innovation and culture share a common need: access to financing that is fast, efficient, and secure. With Proincentiva we take a decisive step to offer a much more complete proposition to the market,» explain Mecides.

A group capable of driving innovation and culture

The integration will allow both companies to maintain their operational independence and their respective brands, while sharing resources, knowledge, and capabilities to accelerate growth.

While Mecides will continue focusing on structuring Tax Lease transactions for R&D&I projects and corporate innovation, Proincentiva will carry on developing its activity in the field of cultural tax deductions, supporting producers of performing arts, live music, and other cultural projects in securing financing.

As part of the group, Proincentiva expects to structure in 2026 a volume close to €48 million in tax deductions and surpass 500 clients, consolidating the strong growth the company has experienced in recent years. In addition, the firm holds the Culture and Patronage Seal awarded by the Ministry of Culture, is part of the Vegas Legal specialized practice, and has established itself as one of the fastest-growing firms in this field.

For Adrián Ramírez, founder of Proincentiva, the integration represents an opportunity to broaden the reach of a market that still remains largely unknown to many companies. «The integration of Proincentiva into the Mecides Group represents a very significant step for the tax incentive sector in Spain. This union combines the experience of one of the leading structurers of R&D&I operations with a specialized and rapidly growing firm in the realm of cultural tax deductions.

Our objective is to make it easier for more companies and independent professionals across any sector to access these incentives in a clear, safe, and professional way. At the same time, this integration will allow us to channel more financing toward culture, innovation, and the development of Spanish business projects.

Despite their potential, tax incentives remain unknown to a sizable portion of the business fabric. The alliance with Mecides will enable us to expand our capacity, reach new audiences, and contribute to a greater democratization of access.»
