The new edition of Madrid Tech Week will bring together in Madrid more than 1,200 companies from October 28 through November 5. The Community of Madrid’s Digitalization Councillor, Miguel López-Valverde, previewed some of the updates during the launch of this event at the Digitaliza Madrid Innovation Center. In his remarks, López-Valverde highlighted that “the diversity of sectors and technologies represented demonstrates the strength of our ecosystem and the region’s ability to forge connections among industries, companies, and professionals, fostering new business and investment opportunities.”
Thus, this year the event will feature seven major stages where 600 experts will tackle the main challenges of the new digital economy. On October 28, Digitaliza Madrid will host in the region for the first time CYSAT, the world’s largest gathering on space cybersecurity.
Moreover, on October 28 and 29 the international congress Merge Madrid on new digital infrastructures for managing assets, such as cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology, will take place at the Palacio de Cibeles. These sessions will bring together regulators, banks, funds, and leaders in this field to connect traditional finance with the e-commerce economy.
In this context, competitions with startups will be held to develop and internationalize the Madrid ecosystem. Additionally, on November 3, professionals will explore the latest trends in digital marketing at Bold Talks’26.
