Four Decelera Menorca Startups Secure $1.5 Million in Joint Investment

July 27, 2026

Decelera has announced a total investment of €1.5 million in the first four high-potential startups that took part in this year’s program conducted at Decelera Menorca: HeyDiga, Flipflow, Mathew, and Ruit.

The deals reinforce the accelerator’s commitment to identifying, supporting, and investing in technology companies capable of leading transformation in their respective industries. With this initial tranche totaling €1.5 million, the fund reiterates its commitment to the talent of the program.

«These investments are a tangible demonstration of our model. We don’t just connect entrepreneurs with investors; we build long-term relationships and back teams that demonstrate vision, execution capability, and potential for global impact», says Marcos Martín, CEO of Decelera.

Four companies with the potential to transform their markets

Mathew AI is an AI platform for educational institutions that helps teachers create content, grade exams, and personalize the learning journey of each student, reducing administrative burden and enhancing the educational experience.

Ruit is a B2B SaaS startup offering an operating system for second-hand re sellers, centralizing inventory, listings, and messaging across multiple marketplaces, and automating processes with AI to save time and increase sales.

From the Decelera Menorca program to investment

The four companies participated in the latest edition of Decelera Menorca alongside the other 10 startups selected for this cohort. This international program brings together annually some of the most promising entrepreneurs in the tech ecosystem with investment funds, corporations, and leading experts. Under the fund’s new high-conviction model, the announced investment represents only an initial tranche of deals, with diligence on the rest of the participating companies continuing to explore potential additional investments over the coming weeks.

Unlike traditional accelerator models, Decelera champions a people-centered approach and the building of strong relationships between founders and investors. This model enables a deeper assessment of teams’ potential and creates high-conviction investment opportunities.

The announced investment reflects the program’s ability to become a qualified deal-flow source and an effective platform to support startups from their earliest stages through to consolidation and scaling.

With these new transactions, Decelera continues to strengthen an international portfolio of high-growth tech startups across sectors such as artificial intelligence, enterprise software, digital health, fintech, mobility, and sustainability.

The investment in HeyDiga, FlipFlow, Mathew, and Ruit complements Decelera’s investing activity over recent years, cementing its position as one of the most active players in identifying and supporting entrepreneurial talent across Europe.

Menorca as a hub for entrepreneurial capital

The announced investments also featured participation from prominent actors in the national and international investment ecosystem, including Abac Capital, Mutua Madrileña, Lanai Partners, 100in Venture, Inclimo, Encomenda, BS Startup (Banco Sabadell), 4Founders Capital, Plus Partners, and Next Tier Ventures.

The presence of these funds and entities during the Decelera Menorca program underscores the initiative’s ability to bring together entrepreneurial talent and investors in an environment designed to foster trust-based relationships and long-term growth opportunities.

Throughout its various editions, Decelera has established itself as a reference platform for connecting high-potential startups with venture capital funds, facilitating investment processes that continue to unfold long after the program ends.
