D-Link has launched its indoor/outdoor IP cameras and video recorders (NVRs), engineered with the most advanced image analytics technology to give small and medium-sized businesses proactive security rather than reactive protection. These devices feature a 2-megapixel progressive CMOS sensor for maximum image quality and process video and audio streaming with the H.265 format to boost transmission efficiency.
They are available in both dome form factor (D-Link BCD-P01) for mounting on ceilings or walls and bullet form factor (D-Link BCB-P01). Both include an Ethernet LAN port with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support to streamline installation by receiving data and power over the same LAN cable when connected to PoE-enabled switches. In this space, D-Link is a global reference and offers an extensive portfolio—from unmanaged to managed switches that integrate the AutoSurveillance VLAN functionality to automatically detect cameras and create a dedicated, isolated network segment for them, increasing security and performance. Additionally, these cameras support the standard ONVIF protocols so they can be integrated into any existing surveillance system.
Both cameras feature an Integrated Intelligent Video Analytics (IVS) system that goes beyond simple motion or sound detection, as it identifies real-time events and specific behaviors, such as line-crossing detection, vehicles, people counting, and more. Thanks to advanced image recognition, it provides the precise information needed to improve site security and operational efficiency by eliminating false alarms and triggering alerts or recordings only in real-world situations. This IVS analytics system is embedded in the cameras whether they are operated autonomously or integrated in a unified manner from D-Link’s NVRs.
New Video Recorders
A key element of a video surveillance system is video recorders, which is why D-Link has developed the BNR-004 (4 channels) and BNR-008 (8 channels) models, combining H.265 compression with high-performance processors to enable continuous high-definition recording.
Designed for professional security environments, they offer reliable storage with support for standard SATA drives up to 1 TB. Both NVRs integrate seamlessly with D-Link IP cameras, activating automatic recording based on IVS analysis. Full integration of all features is available when these NVRs are used with D-Link cameras, but they support the standard ONVIF protocol to integrate into any system. Both NVRs feature HDMI and VGA outputs to connect any monitor, as well as USB ports for keyboard and mouse, making them an All-in-One solution for professional video surveillance.
The IP cameras and network video recorders are now available through D-Link’s official distribution network with suggested prices (VAT included) of 64€ for the D-Link BCB-P01, 70€ for the D-Link BCD-P01, 105€ for the BNR-004, and 109€ for the BNR-008.
