Camerfirma Completes Strategic Transformation Led by Javier Bustillo

August 3, 2026

Camerfirma is entering a new growth phase after consolidating a strategic transformation process led over the past year by its Chief Executive Officer, Javier Bustillo. Since taking the helm of the company, initially as Chief Operating Officer and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer, Bustillo has overseen, during these months, a deep cultural transformation within the company, with about 50% of its operations in Latin America.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, composed of representatives from the Chambers of Commerce and Tinexta Infocert, since taking the helm Bustillo has driven a deep operational evolution aimed at strengthening the organizational structure, optimizing internal processes, and preparing Camerfirma for a new horizon of growth and unprecedented expansion, as part of the Italian multinational’s Digital Trust unit, which to date has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

This evolution occurs in a context especially relevant for the sector, marked by the advance of digital identity in Europe, the entry into force of the eIDAS 2.0 regulation, and the development of the forthcoming European Digital Identity Wallet, initiatives that are redefining how citizens, businesses, and administrations interact in digital environments.

Digital trust has become an essential element for economic and social development. Over the past year we have worked to build a more prepared, agile, and approachable organization, capable of meeting our clients’ needs and anticipating the changes that will shape the future of the sector, explains Javier Bustillo, Chief Executive Officer of Camerfirma.

A Year of Transformation to Meet the Challenges Ahead

During this period, Camerfirma has strengthened its positioning as a Qualified Trust Service Provider, consolidating its value proposition in areas such as digital identity, electronic signatures, digital certification, video identification, and other services that help ensure the legal certainty of digital transactions.

Additionally, the company has strengthened its integration within Tinexta InfoCert, one of the leading European groups specialized in digital trust, expanding its technological capabilities and strengthening its international presence.

With nearly 50% of its activity conducted in Latin America and a solid presence in Spain, Camerfirma continues advancing its objective of accompanying public and private organizations in their digital transformation processes, offering solutions that combine technological innovation, security, and regulatory compliance.

This transformation has also been accompanied by an evolution of the company’s leadership structure, aimed at reinforcing its management capabilities and addressing the new challenges in the digital trust market.

We are at a unique opportunity to drive new models of digital engagement based on trust, security, and interoperability. At Camerfirma we want to continue to be a key player in this evolution, helping companies, administrations, and citizens build an increasingly secure and reliable digital environment,” concludes Bustillo.
