The high-speed rail operator iryo has signed an agreement with ATA to boost travel for self-employed workers in Spain.
Through this alliance, more than 3.4 million self-employed professionals represented by ATA will be able to benefit from special terms on their trips with iryo, helping to improve their daily routines and promote mobility that is more efficient, accessible, and sustainable.
The agreement will allow members to access exclusive discounts on the purchase of tickets, applicable to all of the company’s fares for travel to the destinations where it operates: Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Tarragona, Alicante, Valencia, Cuenca, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Puertollano, Seville, Cordoba, and Malaga.
Carlos Bertomeu, president of iryo, stated that “from the outset of the project, iryo was born with the purpose of connecting people, territories, and opportunities. With this alliance, we reinforce our commitment to the freelance sector, a key group in the country’s economic development that needs flexible mobility solutions tailored to their pace of work.”
In the words of Lorenzo Amor, president of ATA, “self-employed workers need facilities and competitive prices. With this agreement we add discounts to a wide range of products for the self-employed to boost competitiveness by reducing the cost of their mobility.”
