Cambium Networks has launched cnMaestro MarketApps Hub, an open marketplace of web applications designed specifically to extend cnMaestro, Cambium Networks’ centralized network management system.
MarketApps Hub expands Cambium ONE Network into a full application platform, enabling network operators, managed service providers (MSPs), site managers, and end users to run exactly the workflows they need, and giving anyone capable of using cnMaestro’s APIs the ability to create and publish apps. Designed for the AI era, the platform turns domain experts into app creators: with AI-powered coding tools and an AI-ready development platform, targeted apps can be built in hours or days.
MarketApps Hub is a managed ecosystem of apps, available through a public catalog, a developer SDK, single sign-on, hosted apps, and platform-level security, all powered by cnMaestro’s public APIs and an AI-driven development experience. Traditional OEM marketplaces typically include partner integrations; MarketApps Hub delivers functional, hosted, and platform-secured apps that can be created by anyone—from Cambium engineers to customers who rely on the network every day.

Each MarketApps Hub app belongs to one of five categories that let customers know exactly where it comes from and what level of support it receives:
- Certified: Production-ready solutions developed by Cambium, tested, hosted on the platform, and fully backed by the company.
- Labs: Apps released to market quickly and evolved from customer feedback, with those proving value able to move up to the Certified category.
- Partner: Developed and supported by Cambium partners.
- Community: Open proposals from the developer community.
- Private: Exclusive to a single customer account. Its apps, data, and network.
Apps can move between categories as adoption proves demand, so a community idea can become a Certified app or even a native cnMaestro feature.
AI has simplified app creation; the challenge now is hosting, securing, and distributing them to the right audience with the appropriate support.
