DOMMA has launched a funding round via SEGO Venture to drive a new growth phase focused on expanding new business channels, especially the professional channel, strengthening its technological capabilities, and opening new international markets.
Founded in 2021 by Mireia Roca and Cristina Martínez, the company has developed a platform focused on women’s health during menopause that combines scientific evidence, data, artificial intelligence, and personalized support. In just five years, it has become one of the most prominent projects in Spain’s femtech ecosystem thanks to a proposition that integrates clinical knowledge, technology, and a strong connection to women’s real needs.
Currently, DOMMA counts a community of more than 350,000 women, more than 16,600 unique clients, and five in-house clinical studies on the final product. It also maintains a database of more than 100,000 clinical profiles that fuels the development of new personalization and digital coaching solutions. The company has also led the largest menopause snapshot conducted in Spain to date, with the participation of more than 90,000 women.
A Round to Accelerate New Growth Channels
The investment campaign, available through SEGO Venture, aims to raise 600,000 euros to reinforce the company’s position at a key growth moment.
The funds will be primarily allocated to boosting DOMMA PRO, the company’s professional platform, and expanding its presence in specialized clinics, medical practices, and pharmacies. They will also enable the development of new technological and AI capabilities, advance evidence-based R&D initiatives, and prepare the company’s entry into new international markets.
Currently, DOMMA PRO has more than 2,000 registered healthcare professionals and constitutes one of the company’s main strategic bets to consolidate its presence in the medical and pharmaceutical sector.
Science, Data, and Artificial Intelligence at the Service of Women’s Health
One of DOMMA’s main differentiators is the development of proprietary assets grounded in scientific evidence and technology. The company has driven five clinical studies on the final product, a level of validation uncommon in its category, and has built a data infrastructure that enables in-depth understanding of women’s needs during menopause.
This capability has been strengthened with the development of Luna, its menopause-focused AI agent, trained on more than 100,000 clinical profiles. The tool enables personalized recommendations and guidance, helping improve the user experience and decision-making related to health and well-being.
«Our goal is to build the go-to platform to accompany women through menopause by combining scientific evidence, technology, and personalization. Over the past years we have developed distinctive assets based on clinical knowledge and our own data that place us in a privileged position to continue growing through new channels and new markets», say Mireia Roca and Cristina Martínez, co-founders and co-CEOs of DOMMA.
The company will continue expanding its research and development capabilities with the aim of generating new scientific evidence and developing increasingly personalized tools to accompany women through this vital stage.
