Jabra Launches PanaCast U30 Video Bar for Meeting Rooms

May 28, 2026

More and more organizations are looking to bring video collaboration to all their meeting spaces, but the smallest rooms remain a challenge due to the cost and complexity involved in equipping them. This means many of them still lack the technology needed to conduct effective hybrid meetings. To address this, Jabra introduces its new PanaCast U30 video bar, a BYOD-friendly solution that offers security, professional-grade quality, and an optimized experience in small spaces.

Specially designed for rooms with a maximum capacity of six people, the PanaCast U30 combines smart video, professional audio, and simplified installation in a compact form factor, presenting itself as an effective, affordable, and easy-to-deploy solution that enables companies to equip their smaller rooms.

Small meeting rooms are the setting organizations choose to keep some of their most important conversations,” explains Camille Petit, Sales Manager for Iberia at Jabra. “As hybrid work becomes established, it’s increasingly important to have the ability to equip these spaces with technology without complicating their use or management. With PanaCast U30, we’ve aimed to offer an easy-to-install solution that lets companies expand their video collaboration spaces with a professional video and audio experience.”

Designed for a simple BYOD experience

The Jabra PanaCast U30 video bar is designed so that any user can walk into the room, connect their device with a single USB-C cable and start the meeting on their preferred platform, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Even before connecting, the system guides the user step by step with clear on-screen prompts, allowing meetings to start without delays or the need for technical support. Additionally, in future updates, users will be able to create and upload their own custom wallpapers to the home screen via Jabra Plus.

Full coverage and smart video for small rooms

Jabra PanaCast U30’s video performance is optimized for small spaces thanks to a 120° field of view that ensures all participants are framed, even in compact room layouts.

The new Jabra video bar features advanced video modes, such as Intelligent Zoom, Virtual Director, and Dynamic Composition, which automatically adjust the image based on what is happening in the room, following the conversation and keeping participants properly framed at all times.

Joining this is an integrated audio system with a speaker and six microphones that delivers full-duplex sound and coverage of the entire room, so conversations flow naturally and all voices are heard clearly, both in the office and remotely.

Easier and faster deployment

To roll out video collaboration systems across multiple small rooms, organizations need solutions that are quick to install and easy to maintain. Jabra PanaCast U30 provides several mounting options – wall, VESA, or desktop – to fit spaces with different configurations without complicating installation.

The packaging design allows access to key components and configuration without removing the device, while cable management and the built-in prompts on the device itself facilitate a clean, repeatable installation across different rooms.

Once installed, device management is also simplified. Through Jabra Plus, IT teams can monitor device status, deploy updates, and manage multiple rooms from a single interface. In addition, the PanaCast U30 can be managed either over the network or via USB and supports local updates in environments where tighter control is required.

In short, what Jabra PanaCast U30 includes:

  • BYOD experience (bring your own device). Ability to connect to any device with a single USB-C cable, streamlining meeting start and removing the complexity of multiple cables.
