Epson has launched the new SureColor SC-F20000, a new industrial sublimation printer designed to help print service providers and sportswear manufacturers accelerate production while delivering uniform, high-quality results.
Built to withstand high-volume production environments, the SC-F20000 is Epson’s first inkjet sublimation model equipped with eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP print heads, a configuration developed to deliver stable results and consistent quality.
Guaranteed, Predictable Performance
The SC-F20000 also enables continuous, sustained printing with high-capacity 10-liter inks and automatic ink replacement (Hot Swap), reducing operator intervention during peak workloads. To help ensure predictable performance, Epson has designed the printer with dust-reduction mechanisms, including an exhaust vacuum and a media cleaner, to minimize the risk of nozzle clogging.
For long production runs and heavier substrates, the company offers an optional Jumbo roll solution, allowing handling of larger-capacity rolls to meet high production demands.
“FESPA is the ideal stage to show how Epson’s latest textile production innovations translate into reliable, real printing,” says Chris Davies, Commercial & Industrial Printing at Epson Europe. “With the new SureColor SC-F20000, we are offering high-volume manufacturers a new solution that combines speed, consistency and robust handling, enabling output for all kinds of products—from high-quality sportswear, fashion and home goods to scalable textile production. We invite attendees to visit FESPA in Barcelona, Hall 3, Booth C75.”
The SC-F20000 is designed to deliver productivity and stability, with features built to support long print runs and reliable performance:
- High-speed performance with print modes up to approximately 306 m²/h in fast mode and a minimum resolution of 600 × 600 dpi.
- High-capacity inks (10 L) and Hot Swap capability for prolonged continuous printing, reducing interruptions.
- Dual-sided heating and drying to minimize ink transfer and reduce wrinkles after pressing.
- Dust-reduction mechanisms (exhaust fan and media cleaner) to minimize dust buildup and reduce nozzle clogging.
Epson’s image quality technologies include Epson Precision Dot, which integrates multi-layer halftone tones, LUT and Microweave, to deliver a consistently uniform result during production with multiple print heads.
