HTML banner
a banner ad using HTML elements, often including interactive forms instead of (or in addition to) standard graphical elements.
HTML email
email that is formatted using Hypertext Markup Language, as opposed to plain text email.
hyperlink
also called an HTML link. Hyper linking is a navigation technique in HTML that allows a user to jump from one location (web page) to another. Hyperlinks can jump a user to different pages within a single web site or jump users between different web sites.

impression

incentivised traffic/action
visitors who have received some form of compensation for visiting a site.
interactive agency
an agency offering a mix of web design/development, Internet advertising/marketing, or E-Business/E-Commerce consulting.
interstitial
an advertisement that loads between two content pages.
IP address
internet protocol address - an IP address is a unique 4 digit number that identifies your computer on a network (like the Internet). This addressing system allows information to be delivered to and from other resources on a network, such as between computers and web servers on the Internet.
ISP
internet service provider - it provides the localized network infrastructure that allows access to the Internet through telephone lines (modems) or digital data communications technologies like ADSL or DSL. Commercial ISP's have a number of advantages, including fewer busy signals for dial up service & local access numbers in different parts of the U.S.
