Being promoted Chief Sales Officer LYCOS Europe in January, 2005, Michael Rohowski successfully continues to leverage his sales expertise and management know how for internet portal provider LYCOS Europe. His field of responsibility includes LYCOS Europe´s full international sales activities as well as national sales in eight European countries.
 
Michael Rohowski, born in 1963, studied business engineering in Karlsruhe, Germany. After that he started his studies at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA, where he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree.
 
In 1990 he began his professional career at McKinsey & Company, taking different positions with growing responsibilities in Munich, Sydney and Brussels. From 1997 to 2000, Michael Rohowski joined Bertelsmann Direct Sales in Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich.
 
Already since his commencement at LYCOS Europe in 2000, Michael Rohowski successfully led the European Business Development team, having been accountable for a major part of LYCOS Europe´s revenues with international key accounts. As Head of European Business Development Michael Rohowski already had managed a team of 25 employees and was responsible for the overall revenues of LYCOS Europe. Additionally, he had directly been involved in key negotiations and partnerships e.g. with Yahoo, Espotting or Amazon.
